European in style with door to door skiing but the gum trees lend the appropriate Aussie feel to the resort. One of Victoria’s largest resorts, cars are left at Mount Beauty on the valley floor. This is the sister resort to Mount Hotham. Lift passes are valid for both resorts. Although it is a two and a half hour car trip between them, in true Antipodeans style a helicopter journey will get you there in about 10 minutes for less than $A60.
Mountain Information
Famous for its bumps and its associated competition events. There are 18 lifts to give a fair range of terrain.
Apres Ski
Lively apres ski. Ski in ski out lodge accommodation or arrive by chopper from Mount Hotham and stay at Mount Hotham Village Central.
